The only place to stay if you like charm, quirks, great staff, great location!
This is not Holiday Inn or the Hilton. It is fun, clean, endearing, and the only place to stay.
And it is steps from everything! |

| Fantastic value. Greatly appreciated the tea/coffee facility in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. However, they had already charged my credit card while I wanted to pay in cash, so the credit card transaction had to be cancelled to enable me to pay cash. |

| Excellent - very clean and bright single room with great bathroom. Wonderful location, and quiet. Helpful staff. Only problem - moving heavy suitcase upstairs (no elevator). But would definitely stay again! |

| This was the first hotel I ever stayed at in London and I've returned several times since. The rooms are basic, although not sparse and the staff both friendly and helpful. The real charm, however, is in its location. Oh, those gaslit cobbles! |

| I'll be looking for a different "reasonably priced" hotel on my next London stay. With no lift, lugging heavy bags up flights of very narrow stairs is difficult. Staff is friendly, but the hotel itself has no more charm than a standard "box" hotel in the US -- for substantially more money. Its location is its best feature, but loud noise -- including the 7am street sweeper that delights in cleaning the court area -- make sure you won't be sleeping in. |
